Pulse Points 
Who’s got the beat?
A student from each grade of the Academy is recognized every quarter by the
Academy instructors. Those individuals are recognized due to their
excellent academic skills and/or their personal behavior and professionalism
exhibiting during classes. These 4 students are then considered for the
ACADEMY STUDENT OF THE YEAR AWARD which is given at the end of the year to a
special student.
KUDOS - to Nicole Thompson, our second year HOSA president for attending
HOSA Nationals in TN over the summer. Nicole was able to take some
interesting courses where she made an awesome clay heart and play a "victim"
for the skills component of the HOSA testing!
